Ramesh Natarajan is an entrepreneur and a seasoned corporate executive, but at heart he has always been a quizzer. In the late 1980s he represented IIT Bombay in inter-college quizzes, with success.
That passion led him to build gospring.ai, an award-winning quiz creation platform, and to rapidquizleague.com, quizleagues.com and the World Rapid Quiz League, where highly skilled quizzers compete at the top level. 42dots is the other side of that coin: a quick daily quiz for everyone who loves finding things out.

Why 42 dots?
The world is full of fascinating things. History, science, sport, films, food, space, language and much more. To make it easier to explore, we sorted it all into 42 subjects. Each subject is a dot. Together they make one world.
Why 42? Partly because we needed a number, and 42 felt about right. And partly because, as fans of Douglas Adams' The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy will tell you, 42 is the answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe and everything.
We can't promise the meaning of life. But we can promise something new to learn every day.
