These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website https://42dots.in, the 42dots daily quiz delivered on WhatsApp, email and web, and all related services (together, the "Service"). The Service is owned and operated by Curiosity Road Technology Solutions Private Limited, a company incorporated in India with its registered office at #73, 17th Main, 3rd Cross, Near Kendriya Sadan, Koramangala 2nd Block, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560034 ("42dots", "we", "us", "our").
By creating an account, starting a free trial, or making a payment, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Cancellation & Refund Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. The Service
42dots is a daily general-knowledge quiz. Subscribers receive a new 10-question quiz every morning on WhatsApp, email or the web, covering 42 subjects across seven themes (History, Science, Geography, Society, Business, Arts and Sports). On weekdays the quiz is played at your own pace; on weekends, players at timed levels can appear on a leaderboard that resets every Monday. New players can take Explore Level quizzes, after which we recommend one of five levels. The Service is a digital service; nothing physical is shipped.
The Service is for personal, non-commercial entertainment and learning. Leaderboards, ranks and badges are for fun and recognition only and carry no cash value. 42dots is a game of knowledge and does not involve any wagering, betting or real-money prizes.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and buy a subscription. A person under 18 may use the Service only through an account created and paid for by a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these Terms on the child's behalf and is responsible for their use.
- You must give accurate information, including a valid email address or WhatsApp number, and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for all activity on your account. Tell us immediately at ramesh@rapidquizleague.com if you suspect unauthorised use.
- One account is for one person. Accounts may not be shared, sold or transferred.
3. Free trial
New users get a 7-day free trial. No payment details are required to start it. At the end of the trial, you may choose a paid plan to keep playing; if you do not, your access to daily quizzes stops. You will not be charged automatically at the end of a trial for which you did not give payment details. One free trial is allowed per person, phone number and email address.
4. Plans, pricing and payment

- All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of all applicable taxes.
- Payments are processed securely by Razorpay. We do not store your card, UPI or bank details.
- The early-bird price is a limited offer. Once it ends, new subscriptions and renewals are charged at the standard price shown at the time of purchase or renewal.
- We may change our prices. Any change applies only from your next renewal, and we will notify you at least 7 days before it takes effect.
5. Renewal and cancellation
- Auto-renewal: If you set up a recurring payment (such as a UPI AutoPay mandate or a saved card), your plan renews automatically at the end of each billing period, and we will charge the then-current price. We will send you a reminder before each renewal, as required by RBI rules on recurring payments.
- Cancel any time: You can cancel from your account settings or by writing to ramesh@rapidquizleague.com. Cancellation stops future renewals. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Refunds are handled under our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
6. Fair play and acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use search engines, AI tools, other people, scripts or bots to answer timed or leaderboard quizzes;
- create multiple accounts to get extra trials, manipulate rankings, or avoid a suspension;
- copy, scrape, publish, sell or redistribute our questions, answers or other content;
- interfere with, hack, overload or reverse-engineer the Service; or
- post or send anything unlawful, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or that infringes anyone's rights.
We may remove scores, reset rankings, or suspend or close accounts that break these rules. If we close your account for a serious breach, you will not be entitled to a refund for the remaining period.
7. Our content
All quiz questions, answers, explanations, text, graphics, logos and software on the Service are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You get a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use them for playing the quiz. "42dots" and the 42dots logo are our trademarks.
8. Your suggestions and feedback
If you send us question ideas, corrections or feedback, you allow us to use them, without payment to you, to improve the Service. We are always grateful when you spot an error and will correct it quickly.
9. WhatsApp and email delivery
By choosing WhatsApp delivery, you agree to receive quizzes and service messages from us on WhatsApp. You can switch channels or stop messages at any time. Delivery depends on third-party services such as WhatsApp, email providers and your mobile network, which we do not control. Occasional delays or missed messages do not entitle you to a refund, but you can always play the day's quiz on the web.
10. Availability and changes
We work hard to keep the Service running, but we do not guarantee it will always be available or error-free. We may update, add or remove features, subjects or levels. If we permanently discontinue the Service, we will refund the unused portion of any paid subscription on a pro-rata basis.
11. Disclaimer
We fact-check every question, but the Service is provided for entertainment and general learning, on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties beyond those expressly stated in these Terms. Content on 42dots is not professional, financial, legal or medical advice.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Indian law, including your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
13. Indemnity
You agree to compensate us for any loss, claim or expense arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Service.
14. Suspension and termination
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as Sections 7, 11, 12, 13 and 15) will survive.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve any concern informally. Subject to that, the courts at Bengaluru, India will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date and notify you of material changes by email or WhatsApp. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.
